Eudora 5 & 6 Setup
If you haven't already, set up your dialup or DSL connection using
the appropriate guide.
Open Eudora. If this is the first time you've used Eudora, the
New Account Wizard will open. If not, go down to the next section.
- Click NEXT.
- Select "Create a brand new email account" and click NEXT.
- In the "Your name" field, type your name as you want it to appear to
people receiving your email. (This is usually your real name.)
- Click NEXT.
- In the "Email address" field, type your whole email address and click NEXT.
- Your login name will already be filled in with the first part of your email
address (without @andiamo-tel.com). Click NEXT.
- In the "Incoming Server" field, type mail.andiamo-tel.com.
- Select "POP3", and click NEXT.
- In the "Outgoing mail" field, type smtp.andiamo-tel.com.
- Remove the checkmark on "Allow authentication".
- Click NEXT.
- Click FINISH.
If you are changing your settings, or if the New Account Wizard didn't start
when you started Eudora, follow the steps below.
- Click "Tools" and select "Options".
- Click "Getting Started" on the menu on the left.
- In the "Real name" field, type your name as you want it to appear to
people receiving your email. (This is usually your real name.)
- Leave the "Return address" field blank. If it isn't blank, clear it.
- In the "Incoming mail" field, enter mail.andiamo-tel.com.
- In the "Login name" field, type the left part of your email address
without the @andiamo-tel.com. (For example, if your email address is
username@andiamo-tel.com, enter username.)
- In the "SMTP Server (Outgoing)" field, type smtp.andiamo.tel.com.
- Uncheck the "Allow authentication" box.
- Click OK.
