DSL Setup Information
When setting up your DSL modem, you will need the following information:
- Your connection type is "RFC-1483" and/or "Bridged"
- Your IP address is "Dynamic", "Server Assigned", or "DHCP"
- Your DNS setting is "Server Assigned"
If you have an older Actiontec modem without the built-in router, you can access the modem settings by clicking on "Start", then selecting "Programs" ("All Programs" in Windows XP), then "Actiontec"
If you have an Actiontech DSL Gateway that includes both the modem and built-in router for connecting multiple computers, you can access the modem setup by opening Internet Explorer and in the address bar typing: http://192.168.0.1 and pressing ENTER. Then click on the "Non-Windows Setup" option.
